Over 60 compete for prizes and cash in elimination race.
MINNEAPOLIS, June 21st, 2006 — The on-track activities proved to be as competitive as ever with the Midwest Sprint Series drawing 261 entries during the two day event sponsored by Wagner Race Products and hosted by MRP. Our thanks go to the volunteers and track workers for making this a great event.
After Saturdays MWSS race activities over 60 racers participated in an elimination style head to head simulator race, using the WRP KS1000 and RS1000 simulators. After 4 hours of racing, with racers of all ages competing, there were 3 winners that took home cash and prizes worth over $500. With drivers such as Jamie Sieracki, Steve Welk, Cheyene Daggett competing, the event proved that simulators are not just for the kids. Both Jamie and Steve have been instrumental in the launch of Wagner Race Products and utilize simulator racing on a regular basis.
